How we
work….
The Stowe Kitchens Journey
Design-led. Heritage-rooted. Handcrafted in England.
Our process begins with a complimentary design consultation. This is a collaborative conversation, an opportunity to explore the practical needs of your space alongside the creative possibilities it holds. Following this meeting, we’ll share an initial hand-drawn sketch, a guide cost, and a carefully curated set of reference images from our design archive to help you visualise the potential of your new kitchen.
With your feedback, we begin developing detailed plans and scaled elevations. Working closely with you or your interior designer or architect if involved and your dedicated designer will refine the layout, ensuring the scheme is perfectly tailored to your lifestyle. Every decision, from our exclusive paint palette and handcrafted furniture to the tiles, ironmongery, and internal detailing, is considered with both elegance and function in mind.
Once every measurement is confirmed and the design is signed off, the making begins.
All of our joinery is built by hand in our Sussex workshops by a small team of skilled craftspeople. Each cupboard is made from start to finish by one individual, before being hand-painted and carefully wrapped for delivery.
Installation is carried out by our specialist fitters and finishers, who bring the final design to life with precision and care, ensuring every joint, brushstroke and surface is completed to the highest standard.
If you’d like to begin a conversation with our design team, we welcome enquiries by phone, email, or through our website. We offer home consultations across the UK.
Stowe Kitchens welcomes commissions from private clients, architects, and interior designers. As a design-led studio, we take pride in offering timeless, tailored interiors—crafted using traditional joinery techniques, and refined for the way we live now.
From rural retreats to city homes, classic to contemporary settings—each Stowe kitchen is the product of thoughtful design, material integrity, and heritage craft.
